RESULTS

Turning Point General Conference in Taiwan is beginning to fill 'Jerusalem with your doctrine.'  The concept brings revival.  A number of visitors attended this years conference.  Some came from other Christian groups and became involved with Apostolic Pentecostal worship and doctrine.  It was thrilling to see their response and view their enlightenment.  The ministering of the believers to each other and to visitors was powerful!  Below are just a few photos depicting this...

This scene was repeated many times over during conference

Although Turning Point conference is primarily for the strengthening and encouragement of the church in Taiwan, at least 15 or 20 received the Holy Ghost in the three days of meetings.  Deliverance was evident and healings were testified of.

Brothers Smith, Hosmer, and Roberts (Sister Bracken's Father) were contributing ministers in the day sessions.  Their ministries lent impact and strength to the meeting.  All were blessed!

My special Thanks to Brother Hosmer for the photos posted here.  He so kindly sent them on a CD to me from Japan.  He is anointed and a visionary for Revival!

It is safe to say that from all reports and observations that the Turning Point 2002 General Conference was a smashing success.

A Bible School has been opened and I was privileged to teach the final session for the second trimester period.  God moved wonderfully upon the students.

A Prison Ministry outreach is in full progress with 100 inmates having been baptized in Jesus' Name!

Our personal love to the Brackens for their burden for Taiwan China.

All of the Bracken children speak Chinese fluently, even sing, exhort. and preach in Chinese.

Anna Bracken

Anna not only speaks Chinese but can also write it.  Outstanding accomplishment!  Anna has a great burden for the Chinese people and will probably give her life to them in Gospel Work.

Chris and Tiffany have opened a new work in Taipei.  They covet your prayers.  Much outreach is being done.   The church in Kaosiung has gone to Taipei to help with tract distribution etc.

Worship and music was wonderfully enhanced with their singing, musical accompaniment, and testimonies.

Report from Bro Bracken

Brother Bracken ministering at beginning of Conference

Greetings in Jesus’ wonderful name.

We just completed our annual “Turning Point” National Conference and are happy to report that it is considered by all a great success.  The speakers did a tremendous job of following the leading of the Spirit and ministered with powerful anointing.

During three nights and two days of meetings, there was a total of approximately 535 in attendance.  An estimate of at least fifteen received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  One was baptized during conference and two others are scheduled to be buried in Jesus name.  God did many other great things during the powerful altar services as sinners and saints were touched by the hand of the Almighty.

This year we advertised the event on the radio, in the newspaper, through flyers and posters and by word of mouth.  I believe each of these avenues brought results.  It was also very encouraging to our people to see many of their relatives attend and respond to the gospel.

I will close this report by relating a brief testimony to the beautiful effect God’s powerful, preached word had during the last night of “Turning Point.”  After Brother Stoneking delivered his final message, which included a challenge to yield to God and be used in spreading the gospel, one of our newer converts responded in a specific way.  He didn’t want to be a “hearer of the word” only, but “a doer of the word” also!

During each of the night services, (conducted in a music hall of a local school), a traffic guard was seen standing in the back observing and listening.  This man was assigned to our event by the public school we were renting the facility from.  Shortly after the last night’s altar call, Brother Jen walked in with the guard in tow.  He walked up to me and said:  “This man wants to become a Christian.  He wants to be baptized and needs a Bible study!”  So, this man is now scheduled for a Bible study and baptism.  This is going to be a year of harvesting souls!

Thank you for your prayers and support for this mission to Taiwan.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Tom Bracken

It was a wonderful time of refreshing, victory, and spiritual strengthening for all of us.

I am blessed with privilege to minister on foreign soil because of all you lovely people who support me in Partners In Missions and your generous giving to Foreign Missions Projects.

My personal thanks and heartfelt prayers for your continual Blessings upon me.  I am deeply appreciative!

____________

As I looked over the city of Kaosiung from my hotel window each night after service, I was met with this scene.  And could not help but reflect that the night is coming when no man can work...  God help us in these closing hours of time and reach the millions upon millions of souls who have never heard that Matchless Name!

____________

But as the light began to dawn early on Sunday morning, we know that a new day is dawning upon this nation Spiritually.  Not just natural sun, but Spiritual 'Sonshine'  To God Be The Glory!!!
